Are you ready to get out of your head and onto the course?

You know how it goes.

You start your round focused and determined, then a mistake or unexpected outcome leaves you feeling frustrated, angry, or hopeless.

You might think “I always do this” or “I can’t play well today” and try as you might, it’s feels impossible to recover and the rest of the round is for the birds.

And it makes sense!

Negative thoughts, frustration, and tension don’t just disappear on the next tee.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a proven mental training approach that helps the brain release unhelpful reactions to past mistakes, pressure, and performance stress. This approach can help increase mental clarity, confidence, and freedom under pressure to help you play your most consistent game.

Play the next shot with a clear mind, regardless of what just happened.

Hi, I’m Rachel!

I’m a licensed social worker, somatic therapist, and lifelong athlete. Somatic therapy is all about integration, which means closing the gap between what your BRAIN knows and what your BODY is responding to.

Even if you don’t know anything about therapy, you KNOW how a mistake or unexpected outcome on the course can create a gap between all of the time and money you’ve spent on equipment, lessons, and practice.

Oftentimes my clients come to me with a surplus of passion and knowledge for their game and just need support accessing it on the course. Many of my clients report leaving our sessions feeling:

  1. More confidence and ability to focus after a mistake

  2. Less noise from performance pressure, irritability, and negative thoughts

  3. Dialed in to their most consistent game
