Individual Therapy for Burnt-Out Perfectionists

I’m a licensed social worker and somatic therapist and I help burnt-out perfectionists feel capable and confident to follow 👏🏻 through. You know what you need to do, in fact, your head probably sounds something like this right now:

“I know I need to put my phone down and be more present, but it feels like I need to be ON all the time.”

“I know I should have hobbies, but there never seems to be time for me.”

Many of my clients come to me seeking long-term satisfaction when “doing all of the things” has only led to temporary relief.  People who seek out therapy with me struggle with burnout, people pleasing, difficulty relaxing, self-doubt, low self-esteem and self-confidence, trouble focusing on things that are important to them, and despite their motivation to change, they often feel like a salmon swimming upstream. 

I help women teach their bodies what their minds know; moving from knowing to doing by blending EMDR and IFS. Together, we work with the parts of you that feel like they have to stay hyper-productive, responsible, or alert just to be okay, while gently healing the nervous system underneath it all.

You’re not failing at self-care when your system is doing its best to protect you, even if that not optimal or convenient for you sometimes. The good news is that you can learn a new way!

On average, clients work with me for 6 months to a year; we work together to release the pressure of past experiences and meet your previously unmet needs to help you feel more in control of your life.
